Prices of willow cuttings & whips

From the many varieties of willow grown here at the nursery we have selected a few

of the best, covering different growth forms for different applications such as windbreaks,

colour and growth for weaving and attractive specimen bushes/trees.

We offer the main listed varieties as 10 inch long UNROOTED cuttings

(taken after leaf fall and before new fresh growth commences) for delivery during

December, January & February (these root easily when planted directly into the

garden in winter, however, we recommend that you prepare the site in advance ).

The thickness of the cuttings varies according to variety - all root readily.

Unrooted cuttings - £0.80 each or

£7-00 per 10 same variety.

Longer Whips of Salix Viminalis ' Bowles Hybrid'

For your own designs of living willow structures and sculptures

- they root just as easily as the shorter cuttings.

Lengths (from butt to tip) available from 6 ft to 9 ft.

(Lengths may vary up to 4 inches from the nominal)

6 ft long £1.20 each

7 ft long £1.40 each

8 ft long £1.60 each

9 ft long £1.80 each

Minimum order for long whips £20

Just calculate how many lengths you require for your project and

write this on the order form with the relevant reference.

Carriage Charges

These whips have to be sent by a specialist carrier because of the length so we must

ADD £15 PER ORDER to cover this cost UK mainland only (we can arrange delivery to Northern Ireland and Scottish Islands etc too but the carriage charge will be higher

BUT, please note you can come and collect your order by appointment!

Longer lengths (up to 13 foot or more)

are also available if you can collect!

Bundles of 3 to 5 ft lengths of 'Dead' Willow : - Salix Viminalis "Bowles Hybrid"

Suitable for 'rough' weaving, say, around living structures, borders etc (not a variety considered to be basket weaving quality) or, as they are fresh cut, for small living willow sculptures etc . Bundles are approx 9 inches in diameter at base and contain several hundred rods.
